Penelope Halliwell, besser bekannt als Grandma oder Grams, war eine mächtige Hexe, die die drei Mächte der Charmed Ones in sich vereint. Schon als die Schwestern nichts von ihrer Macht wussten, war Grandma darauf bedacht, ihnen dieses Genre näher zu bringen. Nach ihrem tragischen Tod waren die Schwestern imstande, ihre Kräfte in Empfang zu nehmen, von denen sie zu dem Zeitpunkt noch nichts wussten. Auch jetzt noch wacht Grandma über die drei, steht ihnen mit Rat zur Seite, erscheint als Geist und hält die Verbindung aufrecht.
